JASHConnect was founded by Dr Onyekachi Onwudike-Jumbo. With a deep understanding of the unique challenges Africans face when living abroad, Dr Onwudike-Jumbo observed how many Africans in the diaspora struggle with finding and flourishing with their identities, often becoming underachievers due to a lack of connection and support.
Driven by a vision to address these challenges, she established JASHConnect—a global and vibrant community dedicated to supporting Africans living abroad.
JASHConnect aims to empower the African diaspora by building an engaged platform that promotes career growth, knowledge sharing, and the preservation of cultural ties.

JASHConnect exists to ensure Africans in the diaspora can arise and succeed. We do this by empowering Africans in the diaspora to thrive through relevant support, mentorship, and community-building initiatives while celebrating and preserving our rich cultural heritage.
Our flagship initiative, the Global Mentorship Program, matches diasporans with mentors across various fields to help them navigate education, employability, and social integration overseas. We provide the right tools, resources, and channels to empower Africans to rise above the status quo and achieve their highest potential.
